On April 27, civil libertarians from across Nevada came together at the American Civil Liberties Union of Nevada Foundation’s Tenth Annual Celebration of Civil Liberties. The ACLU of Nevada honored the Las Vegas Review-Journal team who produced the series “Deadly Force: When Las Vegas Police Shoot, and Kill” with their 2012 Civil Libertarian of the Year award. The event was held at the new hot spot Barrymore restaurant in the boutique Royal House hotel in Las Vegas.
